Proprietary Colour Names
Internet Explorer provides many additional colour names since version 4.0. Using these names is a bad idea, since not every browser understands them, and I can't really blame any piece of software that is puzzled by "bisque". They are provided here to aid porting to numerical colour notations.
Netscape also has a host of colour names, many of them shared with IE, but I have been unable to find a canonical source listing the numerical values for these. If you have one, please contact me and I'll add the information to this page.
In the table below, indication is given whether the colour is Websafe (WS) or Reallysafe(RS).
